Product Description
The IBM SurePOS 500 is a leading compact point-of-sale system with IR touch screen technology. The all-new SurePOS 500 (4852-566/E66) provides a smart shopping experience via the sleek compact design that complements the store image, the powerful technology that enables retailers to provide superior customer service, and the industry-leading IR touchscreen that reduces training time and improves employee productivity. It also enables smart operation. Retailers can experience less cost with the new energy-efficient processor and power-saving deep sleep automation technology. Retailers will be able to improve service with tool-free access to components such as the hard drive and IBM Lightpath Management. And with built-in security features and IBM's unique retail-hardened design and construction, retailers will find it easier to manage risk. Model 566 is hardware identical to Model E66.

Config Notes
- Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: RAID 0.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 15 SP3 guest. One of the Intel X550-T2 Dual Port 10GBase-T adapters was used in this testing.
