Product Description
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY TX300 S8 offers maximum performance, best extendability and highest availability without any compromises. Branches, data centers and SMEs value the performance of up to two Intel® Xeon® E5 v2 processors in combination with a maximum 1536 GB RAM and GPU card support (General Purpose Computation on Graphics Processing Units). 10 extension slots and up to 24 2.5 inch hard disks enable excellent extendability options. Thanks to a redundant power supply and fans as well as a range of different RAID controllers the Tower Server ensures top availability levels and “peace of mind”. The server is thus ideal for computingintensive applications, virtualization solutions and databases. Furthermore, the comprehensive Fujitsu ServerView® Suite provides support for administrators during server installation, deployment and administration. Config Notes

Power management: Hibernation/Suspend to Disk/ACPI S4 is NOT supported on this system.
Power management: System/Processor does NOT support fan thermal scaling.
Graphics: Video driver used in this configuration is SolidDriver-compliant and may be installed by adding http://download.nvidia.com/novell/sle11sp3 as a software repository then installing the nvidia-gfx04 packages.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter was changed from 128 to 256 (crashkernel=512M-:256M) for kdump to function correctly.
System was tested with an Intel I210-T1 added as a second network adapter. The standard system configuration does not include the I210-T1 adapter.
