Config Notes
- Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 1.
- Install: System installed using the internal DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and elilo system configuration.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where the network adapter was given to the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 guest. One of the Broadcom® Integrated BCM5709C Dual-Port 10/100/1000BASE-T adapters was used in this testing. Interrupt remapping support was enabled via echo 1 > /sys/module/kvm/parameters/allow_unsafe_assigned_interrupts.
- UEFI boot was enabled by setting "Launch Storage OpROM" to "UEFI Driver" in the Setup Utility -> System Settings -> Device and I/O Ports.
