Product Description
The Lenovo® Flex System™ x222 Compute Node is a high-density dual-server offering that is designed for virtualization, dense cloud deployments, and hosted clients. The x222 has two independent servers in one mechanical package, which means that the x222 has a double-density design that allows up to 28 servers to be housed in a single 10U Flex System Enterprise Chassis.

Config Notes
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where a network adapter was given to the SLES 12 guest. One of the embedded IBM Embedded Dual-Port 10GB Virtual Fabric Ethernet LOM adapters was used in this testing.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
- Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port.
