Product Description
The Flex System x222 Compute Node is a high-density dual-server offering that is designed for virtualization, dense cloud deployments, and hosted clients. The x222 has two independent servers in one mechanical package, which means that the x222 has a double-density design that allows up to 28 servers to be housed in a single 10U Flex System Enterprise Chassis.

Config Notes

Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters "dom0_mem=16G dom0_max_vcpus=8".
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI Pass-through.
Maintenance update: Update SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-SP1-2015-1027/grub2 1027 is needed to install XEN server and tools and was applied to the host.
