Product Description

With a dense design, the Flex System x440 Compute Node can help reduce floor space used, and lower data center power and cooling costs.

Config Notes
- Kdump: The crash kernel reserved memory parameters were changed based on the content in the following knowledge -base article for ppc64le. https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3374462
- Headless configuration: No graphics adapter. System configured using IBM remote Hardware Management Console (HMC) for graphics, keyboard and mouse.
- Install: The SUSE Linux Enterprise Server install was performed using a network install method.
- CPU: The Power10 3.9 Ghz (Max) CPU tested has 8 cores and SMT8, totaling for the system 8 cores and 64 threads.
- Power Management: The system/processor dynamic CPU frequency scaling functionality in SLES is not supported on Power10 (PowerVM) as this functionality is provided by the Power10 hardware itself.
