Product Description
Lenovo NeXtScale System™ is the next generation of dense computing. It is an open, flexible, and simple data center solution for users of technical computing, grid deployments, analytics workloads, and large-scale cloud and virtualization infrastructures. The Lenovo NeXtScale n1200 enclosure and new Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 server are designed to optimize density and performance within typical data center infrastructure limits. The 6U NeXtScale n1200 enclosure fits in a standard 19-inch rack and up to 12 nx360 M5 servers can be installed into the enclosure. With more computing power per watt and the latest Intel Xeon v3 or v4 processors, you can reduce costs while maintaining speed and availability.

Config Notes
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- This is SAN Boot only system.
- The driver "htc-hfcldd" that was used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk(DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.21.4284.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.21.4284_4.4.21_69-1.sles12sp2.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to https://sso.hds.com and click on "Support Connect", then select "Product Downloads". DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- The maximum CPU cores or threads when hyper threading is enabled that can be allocated from LPAR is 88.
