With its industry-leading RAS features, energy efficiency, outstanding performance, flexible and scalable I/O, and complete systems management, HS23 offers a robust platform optimized for your mission-critical applications. Standard 30 mm single-wide form-factor protects your investments by providing compatibility with the Lenovo BladeCenter H, E, S, and HT chassis. BladeCenter HS23 offers four integrated LAN ports: dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and dual-port 10 Gb Ethernet with Lenovo Virtual Fabric capability.

Config Notes
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were changed based on the content in the following knowledge-base article for ppc64le: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=3374462
- Headless configuration - no graphics adapter. System configured using IBM remote Hardware Management Console (HMC) for graphics, keyboard and mouse.
- Install: The SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server install was performed using a network install method.
- CPU: This system is 2 CPU socket configuration with 24 core dual chip module per socket, totalling 48 cores. The Power10 3.9 GHz (Max) DCM CPUs tested each have 24 cores and with SMT8 totalling 384 vCPU threads.
- Power management: The System/Processor dynamic CPU frequency scaling functionality in SLES is not supported on Power10 (PowerVM) as this functionality is provided by the Power10 hardware itself.
