Config Notes
- Install: System installed using external USB connected DVD drive; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
- Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0 and RAID 1.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where the network adapter was given to the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 guest. One of the embedded Intel® Ethernet Controller I350-AM4 adapters was used in this testing.
- Integrated network: only two of the four ethernet adapters/ports on the I350-AM4 quad-port network controller are enabled on this system.
