Config Notes
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=263M,high crashkernel=152M,low" using YaST.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 2-node scalable partition with 8 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: two separate RAID 0 devices.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to one of the SLES 15 guests. One of the Intel X540 ML2 10GbaseT adapters was used in this testing.
