SUSE YES Certification
Partnering with SUSE® enables vendors to build and deliver solutions that help their customers reduce costs, manage complexity and mitigate risk. The SUSE YES Certification program brings this assurance by providing easily identifiable products that are certified compatible with SUSE technologies. This lets end-users know that both SUSE and participating SUSE partners will work together to support them when deploying certified solutions in a SUSE environment.
The SUSE YES Certification program offers members the flexibility to choose from
multiple program levels that provide the testing and certification features they require.
YES Certification for Hardware Benefits (Program Level Dependent)
- Access to support on YES Certification test tools, needed for YES certification
- Access to SUSE YES Certification engineering support
- Access to SUSE product development road-maps
- Ability to participate in feature requests
- Basic account management to oversee program participation
- Eligible to participate in the SUSE SolidDriver Program (separate agreement required)
Participation in these programs is based on a signed agreement between the partner
and SUSE, which includes non-disclosure terms. These non-disclosure terms dictate
the program level and provide SUSE and the partner the ability to discuss ongoing
development issues along with road-maps and other confidential information.

By successfully completing stringent YES Certified compatibility testing requirements,
SUSE Partners are authorized to display the YES Certified logo.
The Power of YES for Customers
The SUSE YES Certification program brings the assurance that hardware is compatible
with SUSE Enterprise products
SUSE strongly recommends that customers deploy hardware that is YES certified,
using published bulletins, reference architectures and configurations, as these have
been explicitly tested and are ideal for production deployments.
By using one of these recommended solutions, customers benefit from an unbroken
support chain from SUSE Products and Solutions, to the IHV (Independent Hardware
Vendor) and even component manufacturers, thus helping to improve implementation
success.
