When using autoyast you get the error "A logical volume with the requested size cound not be created"

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 1

Situation

When installing with autoyast using a file that was taken from the "clone" process you can get the error "A logical volume with the requested size cound not be created"

Resolution

Change the size of the logical volume to be smaller or use "max" for its size. This is done in the autoyast.xml file under the <device>/dev/volumegroup</device> section and modify the size to to show "max". <size>max<size>

Cause

This happens sometimes on different types of hardware and cylinder sizes.
In this case it was on a VMWare virtual machine.
