ReaR: Cannot find required programs: pidof

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension 15 SP3 x86_64

Situation

Running "rear --version" from package rear23a in version 2.3.a-19.9 will show following error message:

ERROR: Cannot find required programs: pidof

Resolution

Install the missing package sysvinit-tools:

zypper in sysvinit-tools

The issue has been reported to engineering.

Cause

The dependency to package sysvinit-tools which contains command pidof is missing.
