Multiple services are associated to the same port and authenticated via sssd. It is observed, that requests are slow in response and messages similar to the following appear in /var/log/sssd/sssd_LDAP.log:
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sdap_save_service] (0x2000): [RID#79978] Primary name: [sapmsXYZ]
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_attrs_get_aliases] (0x2000): [RID#79978] Domain is case-insensitive; will add lowercased aliases
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_search_services] (0x2000): [RID#79978] Search services with filter: (&(objectclass=service)(&(serviceProtocol=*)(servicePort=3601)))
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_merge_res_ts_attrs] (0x2000): [RID#79978] TS cache doesn't handle this DN type, skipping
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_store_service] (0x0400): [RID#79978] Corrupt or replaced cache entry [/sysdb/LDAP/services/sapmsXYZ] detected. Deleting
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_search_services] (0x2000): [RID#79978] Search services with filter: (&(objectclass=service)(&(serviceProtocol=*)(|(nameAlias=sapmsXYZ)(name=sapmsXYZ))))
(2025-01-29 7:00:19): [be[LDAP]] [sysdb_search_services] (0x2000): [RID#79978] No such entry
Resolution
Please use
zypper lp -a --bugzilla=1234368
to lookup the package version containing the fix to resolve this behavior.
Cause
sssd did not allow multiple service name declarations according to RFC6335 section 5.
