SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10

Situation

Hewlett Packard ProLiant DL385 G2 AMD Opteron
Booting the XEN Kernel on AMD Opteron Pacifica hardware results in the following crash of the host system: ERROR:

Resolution

This issue is fixed with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Support Pack 1.

Workaround:
Enable the virtualization support in the BIOS. This enables (hardware) virtualization/SVM (Secure Virtual Machine).
