Environment
Situation
CPU1: Core power limit notification (total events = 1)
CPU7: Package power limit notification (total events = 1)
CPU2: Core power limit normal
Resolution
However, if their presence is undesirable, they can be prevented by updating to
kernel-3.0.101-0.40.1 or later and using the boot parameter 'int_pln_disable'
Cause
The occurrence of these messages is routine power limit notification is routine, and the system does not need to be reporting the messages. They can be ignored.
