Error during bootstrapping the centos client

Environment

SUSE Manager Server 4.3

Situation

Receive the below error when bootstrapping a CentOS client with:

Error: https://suma.server.com/pub/repositories/centos/7/bootstrap/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] curl#22 - "The requested URL returned error: 502"

Trying other mirror.

Resolution

1. Verify the proxy settings on the Client Server are correct.

2. If the proxy settings are properly configured, then execute the below commands on the SUSE Manager Server and Client Server respectively;

On the SUSE Manager Server: mgr-sign-metadata-ctl regen-metadata

On the client: yum clean metadata

Cause

The issue is caused due to the proxy settings on the client preventing connection to the SUSE Manager Server.
