Wrong product name after upgrade to SLES for SAP Application 12 SP1

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Application 12 SP1

Situation

After an offline upgrade to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Application 12 SP1 via DVD or ISO image, some files under /etc are showing the product name "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP1" instead of "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12 SP1"

Resolution

The following steps can be taken to correct these problem:

1. Remove all the files where the wrong product is listed:
# rm /etc/SuSE-release /etc/YaST2/control.xml
# rm /etc/issue /etc/issue.net /etc/motd /etc/os-release

2. Reinstall the SLES_SAP-release package:

# zypper install -f SLES_SAP-release   

During reinstall zypper will detected some file conflicts which can be ignore:
Detected 3 file conflicts:
[...]
File conflicts happen when two packages attempt to install files with the same name but different contents.
If you continue, conflicting files will be replaced losing the previous content.   Continue? [yes/no] (yes): 
Please choose yes for continue.

Additional Information

These problem only appears on an offline upgrade via DVD.
Please note, that the file /etc/SuSE-release must still show SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (x86_64)
