This document (000021133) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications

Situation

Need an easy-to-find, single document, containing all the required ports.

Should include port information for TCP, UDP and any other protocols used by Pacemaker, Corosync & Hawk.

Resolution

PortComponent
 TCP  3121 Pacemaker-remote
 TCP  5403 Corosync qdevice/Qnetd
UDP  5404 Corosync / crm cluster init
 UDP  5405 Corosync / Totem
UDP  5406 Corosync / Totem (if second ring used)
 TCP  5560 mgmtd (deprecated)
 TCP  7630 Hawk
TCP  9929 Booth (consensus engine used in geographically dispersed cluster)
 UDP  9929 Booth
 TCP  21064 Resources (dlm etc)
 SCTP 21064 Resources (dlm etc)
 TCP  30865 csync2

Additional Information

Port 5560 is currently not used and can be ignored.

Port 5406 can be ignored if it is not in use for a second ring (as defined in the corosync.conf config file).

Port 9929 can be ignored if Booth is not configured (used for stretched/multi-site clusters).

Port 21064 will use SCTP when multiple corosync rings are present and 'rrp_mode' is 'passive'; see https://documentation.suse.com/sle-ha/15-SP5/html/SLE-HA-all/cha-ha-storage-dlm.html#sec-ha-storage-dlm-protocol .
