SUSE eLearning Subscription

Individual (Silver or Gold) eLearning subscriptions can be purchased by the the year and are available for purchase via the  SUSE Shop, directly from SUSE sales, or through a SUSE partner. Enterprise (Platinum) eLearning subscriptions are only available from SUSE sales or a SUSE partner.

You can access your subscription within 48 hours of the order being completed. Instructions for accessing the content are sent after the order is processed.

An enterprise (Platinum) eLearning subscription provides your organization the flexibility of up to 5 named users at any given time.  This means you can easily swap licenses to accommodate your teams’ needs if you do not exceed your 5 licenses.  

Silver and Gold subscriptions do not provide this flexibility as they are designed for the individual user.  These subscription types tie the SUSE email registered to the subscription. 

For one low price, the eLearning subscription includes access to our entire catalog of online learning content, video classroom courses, learning paths, and first-to-market content. This includes all current SUSE online training courses and video classroom courses as well as any new courses that SUSE releases during the subscription term. The Gold (Individual) and Platinum (Enterprise) subscriptions also include access to up to 200 hours of Labs per user.  This includes all the same content as in instructor-led classes. 

Because you have access to the same courseware and content that you would get in an instructor-led course, eLearning is a great way to prepare yourself for any of our certification tests.  And when you pass your test, you can showcase your certification with Digital Badging. Yes. As SUSE releases new courses (online training or video classroom versions), including Rancher Prime, NeuVector and Harvester content, the content will be made available to eLearning customers. 

Technical support is available via a dedicated email support line (training@suse.com). The dedicated support email address will cover such items as access and system usability technical issues.

The eLearning platform provides transparent ways for you to your progress, whether you are completing a learning path or simply one video. The platform keeps track of your progress. In the upper right corner of the Learning Path screen, you’ll be able to see how you are progressing through the Learning Path. Additionally, each course within the learning path is listed with a progress wheel beside it.

Yes, you can generate a PDF formatted e-book for any course.

• All training content including videos, documentation, and assessments are available in English language only. ​

• English closed captioning is available on a limited number of courses. It will be rolled out across the portfolio over time.

• Each user assigned in the Platinum Level subscription will have access to a maximum of 200 hours of labs. The total number of lab hours allowed for all users on the subscription is 1000 hours. ​

• Exam vouchers are not assigned to individual users of the subscription.​

10 certification exam vouchers are provided to the customer administrator of the Platinum subscription. Individuals who receive one of the 10 exam vouchers is decided upon by the customer administrator.
