SCA in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 (2025 Update)
The SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 certification is designed for SUSE Linux Enterprise system administrators who have become familiar with the SLES operating system. This certification validates your fundamental knowledge of the Linux operating system and your ability to properly administer SLES 15 at a standard sysadmin level.
How to Earn the Certification
Candidates can earn the SCA in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 by passing the core SCA in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 (2025 Update) exam. The 2025 Update exam aligns with the new SLE201v15: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Operations course and is targeted to be released in January 2025. There are no prerequisites to attain the certification.
If you achieved the SCA in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server already by passing the other exam, there is no need to recertify! Both exams lead to the same certification.
The previous version of the exam that aligns with the SLE201v15: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Operations course will be retired on 30 April 2025 to give those already working through that course time to complete it.
The option to update from version 12 to version 15 was retired 30 April 2024.
