ArcelorMittal Sistemas

ArcelorMittal Sistemas, the global technology arm of ArcelorMittal, uses SUSE solutions to modernize its infrastructure. The Arcelor System, crucial for factory operations and SAP tasks, prevents downtime that could impact steel production and delivery. With SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP applications and SUSE Multi-Linux Manager, ArcelorMittal increased productivity by 86%, reduced deployment times from 40 hours to 8 hours and reduced operating system costs by 58%.

Aussie Broadband

Aussie Broadband is leveraging SUSE Rancher Prime, SUSE Virtualization and other SUSE solutions to build an internal cloud platform, consolidate their infrastructure, enhance ISP critical services and support strategic projects. This will improve operational efficiency and security, including deploying Kubernetes clusters in under 2 hours and integrating VMs and Kubernetes clusters into a unified management interface.

Child Rescue Coalition

Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), a global non-profit, utilizes SUSE's cloud native platform to combat child abuse and exploitation, and is SUSE’s official SUSECON 2025 charity. SUSE Virtualization and SUSE Rancher Prime host and manage CRC's tools, including automated crawlers that identify criminal behaviors. SUSE Virtualization maximizes the efficiency of bare metal servers, while SUSE Rancher Prime orchestrates applications on Kubernetes, ensuring service availability and efficient resource management. This combined solution delivers highly available data to CRC's applications, aiding law enforcement in identifying and prosecuting child predators, and has resulted in the prevention of abuse of over 750,000 children and rescue of over 3,400 children across 100 countries.

CONA (Coke One North America) Services

As a testament to the power of open source in supporting customer-led innovation, CONA Services took the lead in deploying and contributing to the SAP Deployment Automation Framework (SDAF), an open source project framework crafted by Microsoft in collaboration with partners like SUSE. CONA Services collaborated with Microsoft, SUSE and SAP to create the tool for migrating its own 24TB system, one of the largest in the world, from on-premises AIX servers onto SAP S/4HANA in Azure Cloud with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP applications. SDAF has significantly accelerated CONA’s SAP S/4HANA transition on Azure, leading to faster builds, a 90% improvement in build quality, a 60% reduction in costs and global recognition for their innovative practices.

Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank chose SUSE Multi-Linux Support to consolidate, maintain and support its global Linux estate consisting of thousands of SUSE Linux Enterprise servers and other Enterprise Linux distributions. In a highly regulated industry, Deutsche Bank now avoids vendor lock-in and ensures continued protection and updates for their extensive Enterprise Linux environment after the end of general support. The SUSE Multi-Linux relationship streamlines support and operations of the bank’s Global Linux compute environment.

IBM Federal Consulting

IBM Federal Consulting used Rancher Government Solutions/SUSE Rancher tools to standardize Day 2 operations and integrate SUSE Observability, enabling rapid and secure deployment of containerized environments in 40 minutes instead of weeks or months. Their IBM Secure Software Factory meets U.S. government ATO requirements instantly, cutting down a 3-6 month review process.

Merck

Merck uses SUSE Rancher Prime to manage all their containerized environments. The holistic single pane of glass allows Merck full lifecycle management across on-premises and multiple hyperscalers. The solution provides a platform to run containerized applications for internal stakeholders in their Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics businesses. Merck has reduced build times by 50% and increased cluster growth by 15% annually while simultaneously providing 99.9% uptime for their customers through better insight and management of resource constraints.

Mitsubishi Power Aero

Mitsubishi Power Aero leveraged SUSE Edge to create a scalable, secure, and standardized remote monitoring and diagnostics solution for their aero-derivative gas turbine packages. The Kubernetes-based platform is a foundation to build custom tooling adaptable to various customer environments. Mitsubishi Power Aero was able to reduce deployment times by 80% from 40 hours to 8 hours, while doubling the number of deployments in six months. This also enabled gathering thousands of data points as opposed to hundreds previously recorded with traditional SCADA systems.

Phillips 66

Phillips 66 has revolutionized its operations by containerizing its vendor application with Rancher Prime. By modernizing its infrastructure and processes, Phillips 66 stands out as an innovator in the oil and gas industry. They have streamlined development and deployment cycles, enabling rapid response to market demands and optimized resource use. They have also increased operational efficiency, reduced downtime and improved scalability with SUSE solutions. The vendor application, designed for the oil and gas industry, has been seamlessly containerized, allowing for more agile development and deployment cycles. The application leverages time-series prediction and optimization machine learning techniques to enable complex manufacturing operations to achieve higher yields, lower energy use, reduced emissions, safer and stabilized operations.

Procter and Gamble

P&G migrated their SAP environment to the cloud, leveraging SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP Applications predominantly for its high availability, scalability, and flexibility features. SLES for SAP underpins the SAP applications that run P&G’s critical supply chain operations. In addition,  SUSE Multi-Linux Manager has capabilities to support P&G’s mixed-Linux environment and SUSE’s customized Premium Support Services package was a crucial element in achieving resilient SLAs in the cloud.

Switch

Switch, in partnership with Oxide Computer, developed a unique, replicable data center solution using SUSE Rancher Prime. Switch initially created a SUSE Rancher node driver framework for the Oxide Computer platform and collaborated with SUSE to validate it. The resulting solution, now supported by Oxide Computer, enables efficient management of Kubernetes nodes and diverse workloads within production data center operations. This successful collaboration solidified the partnership between Switch and Oxide Computer, and showcased the effectiveness of SUSE's solutions in driving data center innovation. Switch was able to replatform their data center management and workloads rapidly using SUSE Rancher Prime, and by switching to the Gitops model, they drastically decreased facility commissioning time and enabled continuous delivery of software systems. This transition provided them with 100% greater flexibility through a cloud native platform.
