Certification Framework

The SUSE Ready certification provides your customers with the assurance that a commercial software solution is supported by the solution vendor when installed on, or when interfacing with a specific SUSE product. It is a self-certification process that says the software vendor has performed the testing necessary to state that their solution functions properly with SUSE products and has commercial vendor support.

The SUSE Ready certification is generally valid for the duration of major product versions. If you have questions about whether to re-certify your product for updates during the life of a version, please contact the INNOVATE Team.

Key Steps Include

Join the SUSE Partner Program. After your application has been approved, send a request to SUSE One Partner team or certifications@suse.com to add you into Innovate specialization.
Download SUSE Software Products: To access SUSE software products to support your testing and QA, log into the SUSE Partner Portal and go to the Services & Support > NFR / Partner Use Software.
Testing and Validation: Perform thorough compatibility tests across SLES versions and service packs.
Verification of Dependencies: Ensure all required libraries and tools are compatible with the target SLES environment.
Customer Assurance: Declare commercial support for your application on SLES, allowing customers to trust its compatibility.
