Situation

Researchers have identified a security vulnerability in the "snapd" tool that manages SNAP, so called "SNAP" packages, which allowed local users to gain root privileges.

Resolution

SUSE does not ship the "snapd" tooling, as such SUSE Linux Enterprise products are not affected by this issue.
