mountstats is missing --file and --since option

This document (000019955) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP5

Situation

The /usr/sbin/mountstats Python script displays NFS client per-mount statistics.
The script is missing the --file and --since options available in more recent versions.
mountstats --file <file> or mounstats --since <file> will return an error.
A more recent mountstats reads and displays those statistics.
Details how to use it can be found in the man pages of both commands.

Resolution

The nfs-client update released April/2021 includes a newer mountstats.py script adding the additional functionality.
To avoid incompatibility with the current mountstats utility, mountstats_0_3 was added.
If additional functionality is needed /usr/sbin/mountstats_0_3 can be used.
