Additional Information

The following commands can be used to confirm the existence of the memory leak in the "sbd: watcher: Pacemaker" process:

# date ; ps -C sbd -o user,pid,ppid,%cpu,%mem,vsz,rss,stat,time,cmd
Thu Nov 21 10:48:34 +08 2024
USER PID PPID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS STAT TIME CMD
root 30293 1 0.0 1.2 35044 20664 SL 00:00:00 sbd: inquisitor
root 30295 30293 0.0 1.2 35080 20600 SL 00:00:00 sbd: watcher: /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:00:10.0-scsi-0:0:1:0 - slot: 0 - uuid: 721e8eac-7155-408d-8610-42807529

root 30297 30293 0.0 2.6 57516 42236 SL 00:00:00 sbd: watcher: Cluster

After waiting for some time, run the same command again:

# date ; ps -C sbd -o user,pid,ppid,%cpu,%mem,vsz,rss,stat,time,cmd
Thu Nov 21 13:14:28 +08 2024
USER PID PPID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS STAT TIME CMD
root 30293 1 0.0 1.2 35044 20664 SL 00:00:01 sbd: inquisitor
root 30295 30293 0.0 1.2 35080 20600 SL 00:00:02 sbd: watcher: /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:00:10.0-scsi-0:0:1:0 - slot: 0 - uuid: 721e8eac-7155-408d-8610-42807529
root 30296 30293 0.0 2.5 55448 40788 SL 00:00:05 sbd: watcher: Pacemaker
root 30297 30293 0.0 2.6 57516 42236 SL 00:00:02 sbd: watcher: Cluster

The output shows that the memory consumption (%MEM, VSZ & RSS) of the "sbd: watcher: Pacemaker" process increases after running for some time.
