Environment

SMT on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 3 (SLES 11 SP3)

Situation

Attempts to add a customer repository on SMT with smt version -2.0.7-0.7.1, fail.

The smt-setup-custom-repos command:
# smt-setup-custom-repos --productid <product_id> --name <repository_name> --exturl <repository_url>
results in the following mysql db error:
DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown column 'ID' in 'where clause' at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/SMT/CLI.pm line 1451.
DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown column 'ID' in 'where clause' at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/SMT/CLI.pm line 1451.

Resolution

The smt update to smt -2.0.9-0.7.1 released December 2014 includes the patch to resolve this problem. Please install the recommended update.

Cause

The script is probing a statement at a table without the Column ID. The patch corrects this and sets the key accordingly to the correct column.
