Mount of nfs share for rabbitmq or database barclamp fails/stalls

This document (7023215) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE OpenStack Cloud 7

Situation

Mount of remote nfs share from NetApp fails/hangs. cd to the mountpoint will work, but directory listing stalls then.

Command "mount" will show that it is mounted with nfs options:
proto=udp,rsize=32786,wsize=32786

While it will work with:
proto=tcp,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,

Resolution

Adding those options to the relevant barclamp (database/rabbitmq) and reapply will apply settings to pacemaker/crm.

Cause

Openstack uses ability of SLES mount. Due to negotiation with backend server (It takes a while to mount) seems to fall back to generic standards.

Additional Information

Following command will show if new options are applied to crm config:
crm configure show <resourename>
e.g.:
crm configure show fs-rabbitmq
crm configure show fs-postgresql
