YaST Expert Partitioner Error - key not found: "partitions"

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 3 (SLES 12 SP3)

Situation

When the YaST Expert Partitioner module is started, the error dialog box with the following error message is shown:

Internal error. Please report a bug report with logs.
Run save_y2logs to get complete logs.
Details: key not found: "partitions"
Caller: /usr/share/YaST2/modules/FileSystems.rb:2071:in 'fetch'

Resolution

This bug is fixed in the "yast2-storage" package version 3.2.16.1-2.5.1 or higher.

Cause

This error is due to a bug in the "yast2-storage" package version 3.2.15-1.13.
